BYDP offers a number of Alternative Education
modules that can be delivered in any setting. The
programmes enable young people to gain a better
understanding of topics that may affect them and
these programmes have been running successfully for
the last 4 years and have been delivered to schools,
alternative provisions, colleges and youth centres.

BYDP have worked with a number of agencies over the
last year to ensure that partnership work is a key
asset to delivering great work within Bradford.
Hollings Road Event
BYDP worked in partnership with Hollings Road Youth
Association, Bradford council, BYO. West Yorkshire
police, West Yorkshire Fire service, Bradford
College, Manningham Housing Association, Palz and
connexion to put on an event for the young people of
Hollings Road.
The event aimed to engage young people into positive
destinations and ensure that they are accessing
different services within their area instead of
congregating on the streets and raising the figures
of anti social behaviour.
The event was a successful community event where
member of the Hollings road community came out to
support and help the event and ensure the young
people made use of the different services that were
there to help and support in betters the lives of
the young people within the area.
Ramzan Radio
This programme was a four week programme with BYDP
being the lead. The programme covered four topics
such as: Drugs and alcohol misuse, Reckless driving
and anti social behaviour, steroid use and
relationships with young people and families,
support services.
Each week BYDP delivered a programme around issues
that were identified by the council and other
services that work with young people. Each week
different representatives supported the programme
with their experience and guidance. The programme
over the last four weeks was represented by:

Charity Football Tournament
This football tournament worked in partnership with
BYDP and West Yorkshire BD3 Neighbourhood Policing
Team. The charity event engaged with young people
across Bradford and 18 teams were recruited.
The tournament was a charity event and raised money
for young people with cancer, CLICK sergeant which
was a national charity.
